Sterling Consortium operates this website and is the data controller for personal data processed through it. Contact us at info@sterlingconsortium.co.uk.

2. What we collect

  • Contact data — name, email address, telephone number and any information you include in an enquiry.
  • Portfolio information — where you voluntarily share details of holdings or borrowing requirements in order to obtain an indication.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through server logs.

This website does not use analytics cookies or third-party tracking by default. Where that changes, this policy and our cookie policy will be updated first.

3. Why we process it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the information you requested — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
  • To operate and secure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interests in maintaining a functioning, secure service.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations where these apply.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions (such as hosting and email providers), with professional advisers, and where required by law or a competent authority.

5. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and to meet any applicable record-keeping obligation, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes.
